This performance is an action transforming community, honoring ourselves and tradition. I responded to the horrific event at Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, PA, the worst anti-Semitic attack in the United States. So that I channeled the disgust, fear, and despair into my performance. The aim of this action is to give memory a form when I use symbolic materials like water, cloth, dirt, stones and pigment. I become the stain and the pain is released onto my clothing.
